Zodiac cruises through the icebergs always offered phenomenal photo ops, as the zodiac driver goes for the group shot.

Our zodiac driver decides this is a good idea, so we also pose for the group shot. Can you spot me in my disguise? The zodiac rides were the only time I was ever cold due to the wind.

We are out for a zodiac cruise when humpback whales are spotted!

There are two zodiacs following the whales. Much to our surprise, one of them surfaces right in between our two rafts!

This dorsal fin is two thirds back toward the rear of the whale, so you get an idea of the size.

This humpback is so close that I can see into the barnacle holes on the whale's back!

The nice thing about being in the zodiacs is that they convert into "chase boats!" It gets pretty wild jockeying for position and ducking to avoid the swinging camera lenses.
