Don starts to make friends, and before long he has crafted a "jacuzzi tub" in the rock pile for the local kids to enjoy!

We thought the trip was a bust, but it ended up being a rare peek into the local culture that we would not have otherwise been afforded.

Is it any wonder the Guatemalan parents are paranoid about Gringos kidnapping their children? They are all so adorable.

By the afternoon, the wind has picked up and a squall has blown in for our very rough ride back across the lake to San Marcos. Don tries to keep us all dry.
