It was a good hike to the top for an incredible panoramic view.

More mountainous scenery and frozen lake below. The mountains were beautiful with their stark contrast, the only colors being black and white.

Wordie House was named after Sir James Wordie, who was a part of the Shackleton Expedition.

Wordie House is now a museum for visiting ships to get an idea of what life was like at an Antarctic research station in the 50's.
