I went on a walking exploration of the little village of San Marcos to find the notorious "Aaculaax" hotel that has a stained glass workshop and each room contains glass artwork.

This eco-hotel is made mostly from recycled projects, and this is where the glassware is recycled.

All rooms in this hotel (http://www.aaculaax.com) have balconies that overlook the volcanoes and lake.

All bathroom windows are recycled glass art projects.

This is the Aaculaax open-air restaurant where I enjoyed a delicious pineapple yogurt shake after my hotel inspection.

I took a hike up around the hillside for some amazing views of the lake

Went for a fabulous swim for over an hour, but every day like clockwork at 1:30pm, the wind starts to blow and the chop picks up on the lake, so time to get out!
